| Overview: Gosta Green |
|
Gosta Green is an area in Eastside, Birmingham. It was named after a mediaeval common known as Gorse Green. It became a slum in the early 19th century after the Digbeth Branch Canal was cut but was almost entirely rebuilt in the 1960's as a light industrial zone with campuses for Aston University and the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design. |

Leave the M6 at Junction 6 (Spaghetti Junction) and take the
A38M Aston Expressway to Dartmouth Circus on the A4540 Ring
Road. Or alternatively travel from any direction until you reach the A4540 Ring Road and then continue on the ring road until you arrive at Dartmouth Circus From Dartmouth Circus take the A38 towards the city centre and then the 2nd left into Holt Street followed by the 2nd left into Love Lane and the basement car park at Faraday Wharf. |
