Three canals converge in Westside and many basins, wharves and warehouses have been redeveloped as waterfront bars, restaurants, apartments and offices.

Westside contains the International Convention Centre, Symphony Hall, the National Indoor Arena, Brindleyplace, the Mailbox and the Broad Street Entertainment Zone.
