It is a national centre for Black British arts and culture;

And is dedicated to the development and promotion of British African, Asian and Caribbean artistic and cultural diversity.

Its artistic programme includes theatre, jazz, comedy, music, film, dance, the spoken word, visual arts, DJ and club nights.

It offers programmes, training and education initiatives supportive of contemporary British black art and culture.

The Drum has its own 60-space car park and is on bus routes 7, 8, 33, 51.
