Moseley Oak RFC
 

Moseley Oak RFC was formed as Selly Oak RFC in 1966 but was renamed after moving to Billesley Common as the sister club and amateur arm of Moseley RFC in 2005.

Moseley Oak provides experience for colts moving from junior to adult rugby and fields former professionals who want to continue playing rugby as a leisure pursuit. It also welcomes anyone who wants to train, play rugby or participate in club social activities.

Sheldon Marlborough Cricket Club (Top)
 
Sheldon Marlborough Cricket Club, which was established in 1906, is based at Foliot Fields in Yardley.

The club fields three senior teams on Saturdays and three on Sundays. The first XI plays in division 1 of the Warwickshire League. There is also a mixed team and junior under 16, under 15 and under 13 teams.

Sutton Coldfield Cricket Club is based at Rectory Park in Sutton Coldfield Town. The club fields three teams on Saturday and three on Sunday. The first XI plays in the Second Division of the Birmingham & District Premier Cricket League.

The club also fields junior teams for children aged 11-17 and an under 10 colts team.

Sutton Coldfield Hockey Club is based at Rectory Park in Sutton Coldfield Town.

The ladies section was established in 1890 and the men's section in 1891. They were run as two separate clubs until the 1980's when their respective teams started to share the same clubhouse and facilities at Rectory Park.

There are currently 10 men's teams, 5 ladies teams, a junior section with under 11, under 13, under 15 and under 18 boys and girls teams and strollers, louts, rejects and mixed veteran teams for the over 35's and over 45's.

The teams play and train at several other venues in addition to Rectory Park including the Wyndley Leisure Centre and Bishop Vesey School in Sutton Coldfield and Moor Lane in Witton.

Sutton Coldfield Town Football Club (Top)
 
Sutton Coldfield Town FC, which was established in 1879, is an amateur football club based at Central Ground on Coles Lane in Sutton Coldfield.

The first team currently plays in Southern Football League Division One Midlands: the 8th tier of English domestic football. The club also fields youth and under-16 teams.

Sutton Sailing Club (Top)
 
Sutton Sailing Club is based at Powell's Pool by the Boldmere Gate on the south side of Sutton Park.

The club provides an opportunity to sail competitively or simply to "potter around" on the pool which is a former millpond with a surface area of 48 acres.

Races are generally held on Sunday mornings in the winter and on Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings at other times of the year.

The club keeps boats for hire and provides dinghy, powerboat, safety boat and first aid instruction. There is a dedicated junior section.

Walmley Cricket Club (Top)
 
Walmley Cricket Club is based at the John Findlay Memorial Ground on Eldon Drive off Penns Lane in the Walmley area of Sutton Coldfield.

This ground also stages youth county fixtures, international warm-up fixtures and some Warwickshire second XI matches.

The club fields four teams on Saturday and three on Sunday. The first XI plays in Division One of the Birmingham and District Premier League. The club also has a ladies section and youth teams for all ages from under 9's to under 17's.

The social committee organises a regular programme of events including race nights, quiz nights and barbecues.

Warwickshire County Cricket Club (Top)
 
Warwickshire County Cricket Club is a professional cricket club that was formed at the Regent Hotel in Leamington Spa in 1882.

Warwickshire moved to the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in 1886 and has been a first class county club since 1894. It plays in Division 1 of the County Championship, the top tier of English cricket, and competes as the Warwickshire Bears in the ECB40 League and Twenty20 Cup.

Edgbaston Cricket Ground also hosts international and test cricket.

Weoley Hill Cricket Club is located at Valley Parkway off Weoley Hill in south-west Birmingham. It was formed in 1929 and fields 3 Saturday teams and 2 Sunday teams. The first X1 plays in the 3rd division of the Warwickshire Cricket League.

Yardley & District Rugby Club (Top)
 
Yardley & District Rugby Club is based on Colehall Lane in Stechford. It fields three senior men's teams, a ladies team, junior boys teams from under seven to under eighteen and junior girls under 14 and under 17 teams.

The pitches are equipped with county standard match floodlights. Other facilities include a licensed bar, clubhouse and gym. Training is provided by qualified coaches.

Yardley Tennis Club (Top)
 
Yardley Tennis Club, which was established in 1884, is located on Queens Road in Yardley; it is one of the oldest tennis clubs in the world. The facilities include four hard courts and a Victorian pavilion.

It was reported in March 2010 that membership had dwindled to ten and that the pavilion had been vandalised and the courts were partially covered in weeds but that the Lawn Tennis Association might fund necessary repairs if 25% of local primary school children were introduced to tennis through the club (News Archive 02/03/10).
