Alpha Tower (1973) is a 100-metre 28-storey commercial building on Suffolk Street Queensway, Westside.

It was built as the headquarters of ATV, but now contains the headquarters of the Criminal Cases Review Commission and Network Rail, amongst others.

It was constructed in the 1970's and renovated in 2003; it adjoins the Mailbox and is the regional headquarters of British Transport Police.

Centenary Plaza (2004) is a 63-metre 20-floor apartment block containing 387 flats on Holliday Street, Westside.

The Cross City Railway runs through a tunnel beneath this building.

The police raided an apartment converted into a cannabis factory at Centenary Plaza on Monday 9th May 2011 (News Headlines 11/05/11).

Chamberlain Tower (1975) is a 61-metre 18-floor tower on Broad Street, Westside.

It was originally an office block but was converted into a 445-room hotel in 1999 and is now owned by Jury's Inn.

Cube
 
The Cube (2010) is a 72-metre 23-floor residential and hotel tower with lower-level retail units on Commercial Street, Westside.

It features an angular crown, a golden-anodised aluminium framework, and an apparently-random window pattern that resembles the puzzle video game Tetris; tenants include the Highways Agency.

The first residential lessees moved into the Cube in November 2010 (News Archive 19/11/10).

Nine floors contain office space and five contain residential apartments; there are retail and restaurant units on the ground floor.
