Kennedy Tower
 
Kennedy Tower (1973) is a 72 metre office block on Snow Hill Queensway in the Business Quarter of central Birmingham.

It was named after a mural dedicated to John F Kennedy that stood on Snow Hill Circus until removed in 2006.

Planning permission has been granted to replace Kennedy Tower with 1 Snow Hill Plaza: a 29-storey 118-metre building containing 430,000 square feet of office space and 16,000 square feet of retail space.

It contains the headquarters of the West Midlands Police Service.

National Westminster House
 
National Westminster House (1976) is an 80-metre 23-storey office tower at the corner of Colmore Row and Newhall Street in the Business Quarter of central Birmingham.

It was built as the regional headquarters of the NatWest bank but is currently vacant; there are plans to demolish the tower and replace it with a new 163-metre commercial skyscraper.

Demolition was planned for 2010 and the new building scheduled for completion in 2013. However, work has been postponed because of the recession (News Archive 26/11/09).

Peregrine falcons nest on the roof of this building.

One Snow Hill (2009) is a 57-metre 12-floor commercial tower built as part of a larger development on a 3.65-acre site adjoining Snow Hill Station in the Business Quarter of central Birmingham.

It contains offices and lower-level retail units, and features an entrance colonnade, clear and translucent insulated-glass-panels and a slanting-facade that overhangs Livery Street.

Tenants include Barclays Bank Regional HQ.

There are several skyscrapers planned or under construction in the Business Quarter of central Birmingham.

These include the Snow Hill Residential Tower, the Snow Hill Office Tower, Snow Hill Office Block 2, 1 Snow Hill Plaza and the Lancaster Gateway.
