Five Ways Shopping Centre
Five Ways Shopping Centre is at the junction of Islington Row and Broad Street, Five Ways, Edgbaston.

It was built in the 1960's and contains a shopping mall, pedestrian plaza, multi-storey car park and 13-storey office block, Auchinleck House.

BPG Urban plans to regenerate the 1.25-acre site as a new mixed-use development called Pentavia.

It will re-clad and refurbish the mall and cover Auchinleck Square with a glazed roof.

The existing multi-storey car park will be demolished and replaced by a new basement car park.

Auckinleck Tower will be retained alongside a new 76-metre 25-storey skyscraper.

This development will create 120,000 square feet of Grade A office space, two hotels, 300 luxury apartments, an enclosed retail mall and 227 parking spaces.

Traders have vacated the mall pending redevelopment but external units fronting Islington Row and Broad Street are occupied and include a Boots store and post office.
