| Joseph Chamberlain College |

Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College is on Belgrave Road, Highgate. It is an independent college of further education governed by its own constitution and directly funded by central government. It offers academic and vocational courses including GCSE's and A-levels in Maths and English and BTECs in art, design, business, health and social care. It also offers courses in community languages including Arabic, Bengali and Urdu and teaches English as a second language. Most students are aged 16-19. |

| St Albans Academy |

St Albans is a Church of England mixed non-selective
state-maintained academy on Angelina Street, Highgate. Formerly a voluntary-aided comprehensive, it achieved academy status in September 2009; funding for new buildings was approved in August 2010 (News Archive 10/08/10). St Albans is attended by around 440 pupils aged 11-16. The pass rate for 5 or more GCSE's at A*-C, including Maths and English, was 31% in 2009 and 50% in 2010. |
