Moor Street Station is in the Retail Quarter of central Birmingham. It is linked by pedestrian subways to the Bullring and New Street Station.

Improvements to Moor Street Station
 
Moor Street Station has been upgraded and will replace Snow Hill as the terminus of the Birmingham-Marylebone Line. Other improvements to the Chiltern Line will reduce journey times between Birmingham and Marylebone from 2 hours to 1 hour 40 minutes.
 
Crime @ Moor Street Station
 
The police warned of pickpockets operating out of Moor Street Station in August 2011 when they were attempting to trace a woman, travelling in the company of a hooded man, whom they suspected of stealing a wallet from a 41-year-old passenger on the 4pm Marylebone service (News Headlines 14/08/11).
