Birmingham International Railway Station is on the following lines: Birmingham-Coventry, Birmingham-Northampton, Birmingham-Euston, Birmingham-Bournemouth, Birmingham-Aberystwyth, Birmingham-Holyhead and Birmingham-Manchester.

The station is connected by walkways, escalators and travelators to the National Exhibition Centre, and by an elevated cable-hauled people mover to the passenger terminals at Birmingham Airport.

Birmingham International has an annual passenger usage of around 4.4 million. The facilities include 5 platforms, shops, eateries, toilets, cash dispensers, bureaux de change, sheltered cycle storage, coach/bus interchange, taxi rank and car park.

There are generally 7 trains per hour in each direction during the daytime from Monday to Saturday. Services are less frequent in the evening and on Sunday.

The average journey time is 1 hour 15 minutes minutes to London Euston and 10 minutes to Birmingham New Street.
