Chester Road Railway Station is on the
Cross City
Line.
There are 17 Birmingham stations on this line spaced at
intervals of roughly one mile. Chester Road Station is barely 250 metres from the Lanes Shopping Centre. It has an annual passenger usage of around 270,000. The facilities include seated areas, cycle storage, two platforms, a payphone and car park. Trains bound for New Street generally stop every 10 minutes during the daytime and every 20 minutes in the evening from Monday to Saturday and at 30 minute intervals on Sunday. |
