| 31.08.11: Approval for Wing Wah Expansion |

The Chinese food importer, Wing Wah, has obtained planning permission
for the expansion of its UK headquarters on Nechells Park Road.
It will demolish several light industrial buildings, expand its existing warehouse, build a second warehouse and convert part of Railway Terrace into a new delivery area. The enlarged site will employ an additional 50 staff, increasing the total workforce to 180 (News Archive 31/08/10). |
