| 23.05.11: Planning Permission for Sikh Free School on Soho Road |
| Planning permission has been granted for the conversion of 6 listed Georgian townhouses on the Soho Road into a Sikh free school for up to 470 primary pupils; the school will contain a dining hall, sports hall, roof-top playground and 15 classrooms; half of the places will be available to the local Sikh community and half will be allocated to the non-Sikh community; the school will open in September 2011 (News Headlines 23/05/11). |
