St Chad's Sanctuary adjoins the William Booth Centre on Shadwell
Street in the Business Quarter of central Birmingham. The centre, which is a joint venture between the Roman Catholic Church and the West Midlands Division of the Salvation Army, is staffed by around 40 volunteers. It assists asylum seekers and refugees by serving hot beverages and distributing shoes, clothing, food parcels, babycare and hygiene products. |
