Highgate Park

Highgate Park is a 12-acre urban park off Salop Street, Highgate.

It contains copses, lawns, formal gardens, an asphalt playground and a vandalised statue of Thomas Attwood.

Historically, Highgate Park was pasture leased for the benefit of paupers under the terms of the Elizabeth Hollier Will Trust (1790).

It was purchased by Birmingham Corporation after the trust was wound up in 1875.
