Park Street Gardens is a two-acre urban park with landscaped
pathways and wooded areas off Park Street, barely 100 metres
from Moor Street Station. A bridge carries Fazeley Street
across the gardens.
Park Street Gardens is the last surviving remnant of a royal
deer park that was gradually urbanised from the mid-18th
century.
At one stage it was the churchyard of the long-demolished St
Bartholomew's, which stood at nearby Masshouse, and still
contains several gravestones.
