15.08.11: Three Arrested After Robbery at Bloomsbury Post Office, Rupert Street
Three armed youths robbed Bloomsbury Post Office on Rupert Street at around 8am on Monday 15th August 2011. Three suspects, one aged 18 and two aged 17, were later arrested on a canal towpath (News Headlines 15/08/11).

05.05.11: Magistrates Ban Duddeston Couple From Keeping Pets
A 54-year-old woman and her 43-year-old husband have been banned from keeping pets for life by Birmingham Magistrates after the RSPCA discovered 23 animals - including cats, dogs, rabbits and birds - living in squalid conditions at their home on Little Hall Road (News Headlines 05/05/11).
02.05.11: Suspected Arson Attack on House in Crompton Road
A family of eight were evacuated from their home on Crompton Road following a suspected arson attack at around 5am on Saturday 30th April 2011. A woman in her thirties suffered 30% burns and a second woman and a man, both in their twenties, suffered 20% burns (News Headlines 02/05/11).
22.04.11: Drug Suspects Arrested on Cattells Grove
Two 19-year-old men, who were leaving a house on Cattells Grove, were arrested after a substance, believed to be crack cocaine, was discovered during a routine stop and search on Tuesday 19th April 2011. A third man, aged 24, who lived in the house that the suspects had just visited, was also arrested after officers found drugs and ammunition on his premises (News Headlines 22/04/11)

06.01.11: Nursery Worker Abused Toddler at Little Stars
A 20-year-old man, who worked for Little Stars nursery at the Nechells Regeneration Project in the former Edwardian bathhouse on Nechells Park Road, was arrested for child abuse on Wednesday 5th January 2011 (News Archive 06/01/11).

He admitted the oral rape of a toddler in his care at Birmingham Crown Court in June 2011 (News Headlines 08/06/11) and was jailed for life with a minimum of 15 years in July 2011 (News Headlines 29/07/11).

03.11.10: Muggers Target Nechells Parkway
Passengers waiting at stops and travelling on buses in and around Nechells Parkway were robbed of cash, jewellery and phones during a spate of muggings in September and October 2010; eight boys aged 14-16 have been arrested (News Report 03/11/10).
