A 23 year-old man from Small Heath has been jailed for 21 years
for sex
trafficking at Manchester Crown Court; he ran a brothel with
Romanian prostitutes on Hob Moor Road in Bordesley Green and
sent Romanians to work as prostitutes in Greater Manchester.
The police raided a massage parlour off St Mary's Row in Moseley
Village in October 2010; they subsequently charged a 31 year-old
woman with having managed or assisted in the management of a
brothel; the massage parlour closed in January 2011 (News Archive 15/01/11).
In March 2011, the woman in question received a 16-week
suspended sentence at Birmingham Crown Court

An interim ASBO has been issued against a 42-year-old man and
and a 37-year-old woman who permitted prostitutes to work from
their council house on All Saints Road in Hockley (News

Council obtained an eviction order against the suspected

A 57-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman were each sentenced to
9 months imprisonment in January 2010 for operating a brothel on
Henrietta Street in Hockley.
