Bishop Latimer United Church (1904) is on Handsworth New Road, Winson Green. Designed by WH Bidlake
in the Gothic Style, it was built in red brick with stone dressings, a
buff-brick exterior and flat-topped tower. It can hold 1,000+ and
contains a nave, chancel, aisles, north and south chapels. Bishop Latimer is a local
ecumenical partnership between the Church of England and the United
Reform Church and hosts 3 other guest churches. It is grade-II*

St Patrick's is a Roman Catholic church on Dudley Road, Winson Green. Designed in the Gothic Style by Dempster and Heaton, it
was built in red-brick with stone dressings in 1895.
The interior contains red sandstone arcades and an elaborate altar
canopy. St Patrick's is grade-II-listed. |
