St Mary the Virgin, Pype Hayes
 
Saint Mary the Virgin is on Tyburn Road in the Pype Hayes area of Erdington.

It was built in the Romanesque style with red-brick and sandstone dressings by Edward Reynolds in 1926-28.

The interior contains a 7-bay nave with aisles and clerestory and a chancel with transepts and side chapels; it is linked to the church hall by a cloister.

Saints Philip and James is on Hodge Hill Common in east Birmingham.

It was built as a multi-purpose space with a central sanctuary in 1968; sliding screens enable the church to be divided into smaller rooms for community activities.

All Saints, Shard End
 
All Saints Church is on Ownall Road in the Shard End area of east Birmingham.

It was built by FJ Osborne in brown brick in 1954-55 and contains a chancel, nave, aisles and north-east tower with hipped roof and cupola. It is linked by cloister to the church hall.

St Giles, Sheldon
 
St Giles is on Church Road in the Sheldon area of east Birmingham.

It is a mediaeval sandstone church whose nave and chancel were built in 1294; the oak-beamed roof dates from 1330 and the west tower and north aisle were completed in 1461.

The interior contains a 500-year-old oak chest, reredos of the Last Supper, statues of St Giles and St Augustine, a mediaeval pentagonal window, 14th century stone reredos, a Crucifixion Window and a mediaeval mason's inscription.

Former vicars include Thomas Bray who organised the Anglican church in Maryland in the 1690's.
